In New York Times' Sunday Book Review there is a review of the new book telling the story of Pixar The Pixar touch. The Pixar Touch: The Making of a Company: “One of the curious aspects of Pixar's story is that each of the leaders was, by conventional standards, a failure at the time he came onto the scene. Hard to believe that this thriving, brilliant company was the product of a geeky University of Utah Computer Science Department in the 1960's. Price unearths much new information (to the genearl public) but occasionally backs off just when you'd like to know more. The tale told is engrossing while the actual storytelling is sometimes maddening. I picked it up more from an interest in the history of computer animation than of Pixar itself.
